Sreesanth's wife lambasts Gambhir

Bhuvaneshwari Sreesanth took to social media to express her dismay at the apparent conduct of Gautam Gambhir during the recent match. She posted:

"It is so shocking to hear from Sree that a player who has played for India with him for many years can stoop to this level. Even after so many years of retirement from Active cricket. After all upbringing matters a lot and it shows up when these kind of behaviour comes up on ground. Shocking truly shocking."

The recent altercation between S Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir during the Legends League Cricket has left fans in suspense about the origin of the spat. While Sreesanth claims that Gambhir initiated the confrontation, the latter has yet to provide his perspective on the matter. In a video clip, it can be observed that Sreesanth gave stares to Gambhir after hitting boundaries, moments before the altercation unfolded.

Following the Legends League Cricket match, S Sreesanth took to Instagram to reveal that Gautam Gambhir had allegedly called him a "fixer" during the altercation. According to Sreesanth, Gambhir persisted with the term until the teammates intervened and separated the two players.

Sreesanth's comments on Gautam Gambhir

"I have not used a single bad word or used a single abusive word to him. I only said, "What are you saying? What are you saying?" In fact, I kept laughing in a sarcastic way because he kept calling me "Fixer, fixer, you are a fixer, F*** off fixer". This is the language that was used."

In a subsequent video posted on Instagram, S Sreesanth asserted that he was not at fault and expressed the emotional distress caused by Gautam Gambhir's words.
