Batter Gautam Gambhir and fast bowler Sreesanth are arguably the hotheads of Indian cricket. The duo grabbed headlines in the past owing to their infamous altercations with the opposition as well as their own colleagues. 

However, this time, the duo clashed with one another in what turned out to be a major tussle after the pacer decided to speak up. The fight broke out when Gautam Gambhir slammed Sreesanth for 14 runs in the second over of the Legends League Cricket game between Indian Capitals and Gujarat Giants.

The duo exchanged words and got into a heated argument before umpires jumped in to intervene. Later, the speedster took to Instagram and lashed out at Gambhir.

He said the batter called him names and went personal. Gambhir allegedly said things he shouldn’t, which left Sreesanth hurt. However, he refused to shed details of the conversations.


Sreesanth Earlier Praised Gambhir's Nature!

Interestingly, the same Sreesanth, who referred to Gambhir as “Mr.Fighter” who does not respect his seniors, praised him during an interview with Sportskeeda.

In a video doing rounds on social media, Sreesanth is seen heaping praises on Gautam Gambhir by calling him a sweet, nice, and focused guy. Not only that, the pacer reckoned that Gambhir achieved success due to his nature of supporting and helping his colleagues in need.

He later playfully urged Gambhir to smile more as it suits him. The conversation was extremely heartwarming as the duo shared a laugh.

However, within months, the tables turned, and the former Indian bowler’s opinions about Gambhir changed. Now, he is an ungrateful person who has no respect for his seniors and is presumably a bully for trying to bring Sreesanth down. 

Having said that, Gautam Gambhir is yet to react to the feud. However, Sreesanth has promised to speak up in detail when the time is right.
