After a near-perfect tournament ended with a disappointing result, the team India will be facing the Australian team for the five-match T20I series. not even two days ago in front of 1.3 lakh fans, the Australian team defeated India in the World Cup 2023 final. Jay Shah, the honorary secretary of BCCI thanks the Indian fans for showing love and support in huge numbers whether from their homes or any other place.

Despite losing the final, the Indian fans are still all over the Indian team and are standing behind them in these hard times. Fans are one of the key aspects of the sport which keeps it alive and becomes a source of entertainment for everyone. 

The World Cup 2023 turned out to be the greatest event due to the incredible hospitality for the visiting teams, stadiums filled with fans and balanced pitches and was continued without disruption. In his latest tweet, Jay Shah shared the numbers that were a part of making the World Cup final a record-breaking event. A total of 30 crore fans watched the final on the TVs which makes it the most watched event of any kind in Indian television history. 

When it comes to the digital audience, the number peaked in the final and was around 5.9 crore. And the peak audience for TVs hit the 13 crore mark and made a record in Television history. Jay Shah while thanking all the fans for supporting the Indian team in huge numbers wrote 'Thank you to all those who bleed blue'.
