With dejection evident on his face and tears in his eyes, Virat Kohli left the field in despair following India's loss to Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup final at Ahmedabad's iconic Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Despite a remarkable campaign with the bat, culminating in 765 runs and three centuries across 11 innings, Kohli's outstanding performance couldn't secure victory, but he clinched the Player of the Tournament title.

However, despite Kohli's stellar batting performance, India fell short once again in the final, unable to defend a total of 240 runs as Australia secured their sixth title.

As the anticipation grows for India's next ICC trophy, there is curiosity about Kohli's participation in the Men's ODI World Cup scheduled for 2027.

A widely shared Facebook post hints that Virat Kohli is anticipated to participate in the next 50-over World Cup.

According to the post, Kohli's performance is predicted to decline from August 2025 to February 2027 before making a resurgence just in time for the World Cup 2027.

The post titled "Analysis of Virat Kohli’s horoscope" has been remarkably accurate, forecasting events such as Kohli's wedding to Anushka Sharma on December 11, 2017, and discussing the cricketer's lean period. The post boldly claims that Kohli's career will soar in 2027, culminating in a retirement on a high note before March 2028.

“Virat’s career will pick up in 2027 and he will retire on a very high note before March 2028," the post said.

If you're curious, the viral post originated from a Facebook page named “Stars and Astrology". Originally shared on the platform in April 2016, the astrologer's post has been tracking the various phases of Kohli’s personal and professional life since that time.

It's important to mention that social media platform- Facebook permits users to edit their posts even after publishing. Following the widespread circulation of the analysis post regarding Kohli’s alleged horoscope on ‘X’, users hurried to verify if it had been modified since its initial publication in 2016. Surprisingly, there was no “edit history” associated with the post.

If the viral post turns out to be accurate, we can anticipate witnessing the batting legend in the blue jersey four years from now.
