16 Sixes - Chris Gayle vs Zimbabwe (World Cup 2015)

A few days back at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium of Bengaluru, in the clash between New Zealand and Pakistan, the Kiwis posted a total of 401 runs and to chase this mammoth total, someone had to play a big innings from the Pakistan team. Fakhar Zaman, the opening batter of Pakistan played a knock of 126 runs off just 81 deliveries, where he smashed 11 sixes and helped his team reach a DLS par score and Pakistan managed to win the game.

Australia were 91-7 while chasing 291 and would not have even thought that they will be winning the game, but Maxwell did what he is known for and played a historic knock of 201* off just 128 deliveries. He smashed 10 sixes, some of them being launched without moving his feet as he was feeling cramps with every movement and made it to the list of smashing most sixes in a World Cup inning.
