Sachin was a young prodigy, who made his international debut against Pakistan in Karachi at the age of just 16. Who would have thought that the little master would go on to rule the cricket world for the next 24 years? Nine out of his 100 centuries came in a winning cause, which makes him top the list of having the most number of centuries in a winning cause by the age of 22.

Another prodiguos talent, Virat Kohli is on the footsteps laid by his master Sachin Tendulkar. Following his footmarks, Kohli has already made his mark in international cricket by smashing 80 international centuries and even broke the record of smashing most centuries in ODIs with his 50th ton in the semifinal of the World Cup 2023. 

Back in 2008, the 19-year-old Virat Kohli stepped onto the field for the first time in Indian colours at the international level. King Kohli was known as an aggressive batter during his early days and contributed with a century for India's win six times till the age of 22. His hunger to win games for India is still intact, as he is still the major contributor to India's success.

The young left-handed batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal is a supremely talented opener with a variety of shots under his belt. With his exceptional skillset, he dominated domestic cricket while playing for Mumbai and finally got to make his India debut in 2023 against West Indies. In his very first Test, Yashasvi smacked a daddy hundred and announced himself at the international level. 

Jaiswal also hammered a century in the Asian Games 2023, where India clinched their first-ever Gold Medal. Continuing his stellar run, Yashasvi went on to register a double century in the second Test of the ongoing series against England. With these three centuries, Yashasvi comes third on the list of players with the most hundreds at the age of 22 for a winning cause. 


Vinod Kambli - 3

Vinod Kambli was another gem of a player in India and was known for his aggression. Having made his India debut at the age of 21, Kambli went on to smash four centuries in his first seven Test matches. Even though his Test career did not last more than three years but he went on to contribute to the ODI cricket for India. 

Out of his six international hundreds, Vinod Kambli won three matches for India scoring centuries in each of them, which makes him the fourth-best batter in terms of centuries scored in a winning cause at the age of 22. He featured in 101 ODI games and scored nearly 2500 ODI runs with an average of over 32. 


Suresh Raina - 2

Another left-hander, Suresh Raina was among the best all-rounders during his time. He was an actual three-dimensional player with off-spin bowling skills and remarkable fielding skills. With nearly 8000 international runs, Raina was nothing short of a match-winner for the Indian team. 

Having made his international debut at the age of just 19, Raina went on to smack seven hundreds in his whole career and two of them were scored before he turned 23, helping India win both of those games. With these two match-winning innings, Raina comes last on this record.
