Hardik Pandya and David Miller completed the innings with flourish, ensuring GT put up a threatening score. LSG attempted their best in the chase but were unable to match Gujarat's ferocity, being short by 56 runs despite a good attempt.

In a stunning exhibition of power-hitting, PBKS created a new record for the highest IPL total at Narendra Modi Stadium, breaking GT's previous record. The innings were fuelled by aggressive batting from the top order, with boundaries raining all over the ground.

Following opener Priyansh Arya's 47 off 23 balls knock, captain Shreyas Iyer stole the spotlight with 97* off 42 balls. Shashank Singh wrapped up with a brilliant 44 off 16 balls to take PBKS to 243 total runs.

GT, on the other hand, could score only 232 runs but lost by 11 runs to lose the match. Not only did this innings create a benchmark for all future teams to follow, but it also revealed how batting-friendly the Narendra Modi Stadium conditions are.
