Travis Head in 2023 has been Australia's go-to man in crunch moments. Head starred for Australia in the final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against India last evening, scoring a match-winning 137 at Ahmedabad, helping the Baggy Green' lift their sixth World title.

The 29-year-old also shined in the field, taking a blinder of a catch to dismiss Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who looked dangerous on 47.  Head came into the tournament after an injury layoff, and still performed exceptionally well in knockouts, scoring a fifty and picking two wickets against South Africa in the semi-finals.

Now, an old tweet by former Australian great, the late Shane Warne has resurfaced, where the leg-spinner predicted the former's capability to become the best. Warne, who had a keen eye for talent, posted about Head being a future star for Australia across formats back in 2016.

Here's what Warne Posted

‘I’m a big fan of Travis Head as a cricketer, I believe he will be a future star for Australia in all forms of the game,’

The Adelaide-born took to the social media platform 'X' and expressed his admiration for Warne, who backed the all-rounder during his early days.
