Sports know no boundaries! The statement has again been proven right as an Indian fan picked Mohammad Rizwan as her favourite cricketer from Pakistan. In a viral video shared by a user on X, a girl, who has the Indian flag painted on her cheeks, was asked about her favourite player within the Pakistan team.

The reporter might have expected the names of Babar Azam or Shaheen Shah Afridi in reply but to his surprise, the girl picked Rizwan, speaking at length about her admiration for his batting.

The Indian fan also praised Rizwan for his recent innings versus Bangladesh in which the 31-year-old scored crucial 63 runs in a match-winning cause for his side.

A section of Pakistani fans and pundits have been demanding Rizwan's exclusion from the playing XI after his failure versus India on Monday. However, as it seems, the wicketkeeper-batter has received support from an Indian.

The star Pakistani player will next be seen in action on September 14 in the fixture against Sri Lanka. It could be a must-win clash for Pakistan, who will head to this contest after suffering a whooping 228-run defeat at the hands of India.
