Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has found himself in another controversy after making an unwanted remark about Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan while criticising the Pakistan Cricket Board.

At a public gathering with several former Pakistan captains and players, Razzaq talked about PCB's intentions and cited Aishwarya's example, which caused a stir on social media.

However, this is not the first time that the 43-year-old has made a sexist remark about a woman.  In 2021, Razzaq while seated on a TV show alongside Pakistan captain Nida Dar, commented on the latter's physique, which was uncalled for, in a discussion that revolved around women in sports.

Razzaq made a misogynist remark about Dar's hand being manly, and also spoke about her short hairstyle, as other guests continued to laugh and not interject.

Here's what Razzaq said

"Their field is as such. When they become cricketers, they strive to be as equal as their male counterparts, if not better than them. They want to prove that not only men, but they can also do it as well. The feeling [to get married] is gone [by the time they excel. If you shake her hands, you won't even feel she’s a girl,”

Unfazed, Dar showed immense calmness maintained her class despite the distasteful nature of the discussion, and explained her response professionally.
