Virat Kohli is one of the finest cricketers ever to play the game, and is known for his discipline on and off the field. However, the man also knows how to entertain people around him and always seems to come up with hilarious antics on the cricket field. One such moment was when he imitated Jasprit Bumrah's action during a Test match between India and Sri Lanka.

It was a Day-Night Test between India and Sri Lanka in March 2022 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Indian players were waiting near boundary line before the start of the Sri Lanka series and Virat Kohli started imitating Jasprit Bumrah's action with the fast bowler around him.

Kohli's Antics Created Healthy Environment In The Indian Camp

There were other players too like Ravichandran Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami and it started a free-flowing discussion between the players. After Virat Kohli, the likes of Jadeja, Axar Patel and even Bumrah started discussing different actions, and it showed once again how Virat Kohli manages to keep the atmosphere in the Indian camp jovial despite the immense pressure of International cricket.

It was a Test match which India dominated and won the game by 238 runs. They batted first and scored 252 while batting first while Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 109 in the first innings. Jasprit Bumrah picked up a five-wicket haul in that innings and India piled on 303 runs in the second innings. Sri Lanka were then cleaned up for 208 in their second innings and Shreyas Iyer was named player of the match for his knocks of 92 and 67.

Virat Kohli - A Fan Of Jasprit Bumrah

Virat Kohli's imitation of Jasprit Bumrah was not only about making fun of the pacer, but the legendary batter over the years has admired the right-arm pacer and has often stated that he is the best in the world. The classic example of it was how Virat Kohli signalled out Jasprit Bumrah as national treasure at the Wankhede Stadium during the celebration of India's T20 World Cup triumph and it shows the kind of impact Bumrah has made in his career so far.
