England all-rounder Sam Curran has been in impressive form for his country in the T20 World Cup 2022.

Curran has provided valuable contributions with the bat and the ball so far and he will hoping to guide the Three Lions to the semi-finals of the tournament now.

Recently, England edged out a thriller against New Zealand and Curran was one of the top performers for his side. He was entrusted with the responsibility of bowling the pressure death overs and he did his job magnificently.

Curran picked up two wickets for 26 runs over the course of his spell. The player has now reflected on how he deals with pressure and how he manages to cope with the expectations in the crucial moments.

The England all-rounder believes that competing in the Indian Premier League has helped him learn how to cope with pressure in the shortest format of the game.

Recently, former England captain Nasser Hussain also heaped praise on Curran for his performances in the World Cup.

As quoted by Metro, Curran said:

"Just playing against the best players in the world and constantly being under pressure, those moments are great. It is just a great tournament and a great standard of cricket. It really tests you. I also really enjoyed my T20 Blast with Surrey as well. I did different roles and felt in a really good place.

"All the experiences I’m having, I’m really enjoying. Any T20 cricket against the best players in the world will only make you stronger, you learn from your bad days and get confidence from the good days."
