Suddenly, everything has started to fall into place for Mumbai Indians, and one of the reasons for that is the way Jason Behrendorff is bowling for them in the powerplay. And, after getting a huge total in the bank, the Australian seamer just bowled on accurate spots and got the reward for it. He removed GT's skipper Hardik Pandya in the powerplay to complete 150 wickets in the shortest format.

Behrendorff has become the 12th Australian bowler with 150 or more T20 wickets. He went past the milepost in his 125th innings with a career-best of 4-21 at an economy rate of 7.44.

The left-arm seamer has been Mumbai's second most successful bowler this season with 12 wickets after eight outings, after the veteran leg-spinner Piyush Chawla (18 wickets off 12 matches).

Thanks to Behrendorff and Akash Madhwal's twin snaps with the new ball and a couple more from the spinners, MI have gotten five of GT's wickets. However, the Titans have the inbuilt ability to pull miraculous victories out of long-gone games. But, by all means, it seems the five-time champions will bag a mammoth win, which would help them better their NRR.

Earlier in the match, Mumbai registered a mighty total of 217-5, courtesy of Suryakumar Yadav's maiden IPL ton and timely cameos from skip Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Vishnu Vinod.
