There is no stopping Suryakumar Yadav at the moment. The Mumbai Indians batter started the tournament on a sluggish note, but has picked up pace towards the business end of the competition.

In a crucial match against the Gujarat Titans, Suryakumar rose to the occasion once again and slammed his maiden IPL hundred to help MI post a competitive 218 for 5.

Rohit-Kishan give flying start to MI

Put into bat, Mumbai Indians needed a solid start from the openers, and that's just what Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan provided. The attack started right from the first over of Mohammed Shami and it didn't take them long to clear the fence with ease.

Interestingly, Rohit was the aggressor and tonked Mohit Sharma over the deep square region to announce his arrival in style. In the process, he went onto score 200 sixes for the MI side. Ishan joined the party and he was the one who targeted Noor Ahmad, and never allowed the Afghan spinner to settle in as the openers added 61 runs inside 6 overs.

Hardik Pandya introduced Rashid into the attack and the wily spinner sent back both the openers in quick successions to open up the match.

The hero of the last match, Wadhera followed them soon as the home team were in a spot of bother.

SKY rises to the occasion once again

MI needed their best player to step up once again and SKY obliged that as he started from where he left against RCB.

He found an able partner in Vishnu Vinod, who came in as a surprise package and blasted a quick-fire 20-ball 30 to get the momentum back to his side.

SKY looked unfazed against the GT bowlers and found the gaps with utmost ease as he notched up yet another fifty in the competition. This was his 5th fifty in the last 7 IPL innings.

Smaller boundaries at Wankhede, too, helped his cause as the Mumbai batter brought his best against the GT side. SKY showed his 360 degree repertoire as the bowlers had no answer for him. He finished with an unbeaten 103 off 49 balls as MI have posted a daunting task for the Titans.
