[Watch] GT Impact Player Shubman Gill Bowled by MI's Impact Player

The ongoing MI-GT game is moving towards the five-time champions, MI as they have put a mammoth total of 218 on the board. The game is being played at Wankhede and it is known as a big-chasing ground, so GT would have hoped to start off well and chased down the target. Gill who was not part of the starting XI in the first half, came in as an Impact Player and opened the innings alongside Saha.

However, the real impact was made by Akash Madhwal, MI's Impact Player as he knocked over Gill's off stump out of the ground with a peach of a delivery. It was the fifth delivery of the fourth over and Madhwal bowled it back of a length, on off. Gill thought it is short enough to pull but the ball skidded off the surface and went under his bat to knock over the off pole.

It was Madhwal's second wicket and overall, at the time of writing, GT are 48-3 at the end of 6 overs. They need 171 more from 84 balls to win the game and need a big partnership now from Miller and Vijay Shankar who are batting in the middle.
