While he failed in the second game, Rohit's new found confidence resulted in another terrific hundred, this time converting it into a double ton as South Africa once again lost the match and the series.

The series was a pivotal point in his career, as since then, Rohit has become India's best batter in the longest format of the game. Moreover, he now provides stability at the top of the order for India.
