Morne Morkel, the former South African speedster was appointed as the new bowling coach of Team India.

Morkel, will join the Indian side for their next series against Bangladesh, starting next month. He has formerly coached Pakistan, and their bowlers benefited from his inputs. Similarly, the Indian bowlers, too, can reap rewards of having someone with the experience of Morkel to guide them.

We have jotted down 3 bowlers who will benefit from the arrival of the new India coach.

Arshdeep Singh

There is no doubt that Arshdeep Singh is one of the most promising bowlers of India at the moment. The left-arm seamer has been the best bowler of the last T20 World Cups for India, and there are talks that he might be included in India's Test squad for BGT 2024.

He is still an unknown commodity in Test cricket, and has the raw talent, which Morkel can tap in. The South African's advice will take Arshdeep to a different level altogether.

Mayank Yadav

The next big thing in Indian pace attack, Mayank Yadav still has a lot of work to do, if he is to achieve big things in cricket. His raw pace was witnessed by many in the IPL 2024, whe he decimated the opposition with his sheer pace.

He has already worked with Morkel, during their time in LSG, and could be a beneficiary, if Morkel once again takes him under his wings.

Mohammed Siraj

At times Siraj is unplayable, at times he is erratic. This is the curious case of the Indian pacer, who sometimes gets inconsistent with his lines and lengths. He oftens tends to do a bit too much to get wickets, and when things don't go his way, Siraj tends to get frustrated.

This is where Morkel's role comes in, as he will calm things down for Siraj, and the Hyderabad pacer will learn different tricks from the Indian coach.
