'Hasn't Ever Got Kohli in T20s': Aakash Chopra Curses RCB Skip Just Before his Dismissal
Aakash Chopra and his long-running love for prediction have returned to the limelight. On the first delivery of the clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals, Trent Boult snapped the home captain Virat Kohli on a golden duck, the first time in T20 cricket. However, Chopra got headlined after the dismissal as he highlighted the rare feat seconds before the ball was bowled, and eventually, Kohli got served with a commentator curse.
Seconds before the play commenced at Chinnaswamy, Chopra on JioCinema, mentioned the Player-to-player between two maestro players.
"(Trent) Boult has never dismissed (Virat) Kohli in any sort of T20s. Be it IPL or T20 Internationals," said the cricketer turned commentator on JioCinema.
Responding to Chopra, his co-commentator Parthiv Patel cheekily said:
"He (Boult) might not got him (Kohli) yet, but you have gotten him multiple times," Parthiv replied.
Talking about the ongoing clash, after skipper Kohli RCB lost Shahbaz Ahmed inside the powerplay to Boult only, but only to have Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell at the crease.
At the time of writing, Bangalore have notched up 72 runs after seven overs, with Maxwell batting at 40* off 19 balls and Du Plessis playing second fiddle with an 18-ball 30.
