GT's Sai Sudarshan Thumps Second Fifty in a Row

Batting against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) where Shubman Gill failed to score, youngster Sai Sudarshan banged a 34-ball fifty in the scorching heat of Ahmedabad. The left-hander recorded a half-century in the previous game as well which makes this his third in overall IPL career as he managed one in the last season.

Sudarshan smashed two sixes and three fours to play another rememberable knock for his side.

Previously, his stellar show in the last match where he faced 48 balls to play an unbeaten 62 run knock against the Delhi Capitals, helped the Gujarat-based side to take the victory.

Sudarshan came in as an impact player in the first match of the season as he retained his place following an impressive performance with the bat.

In his eight-match IPL career, Sai has been magnificent with 282 runs at a strike rate of 130 while averaging 47.

Talking about the match, he lost his wicket for 53 and after that, it was Vijay Shankar's show as the right-hander took on the KKR bowlers with his 63 not out off just 24 balls with as many as five maximums.

His power show helped the Titans to an impressive total of 204 after the completion of their 20 overs.
