In the high-pressure match against Mumbai Indians (MI), India's left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja came well and how. The Saurashtra all-rounder bowled extremely well to deliver figures of 3 for 20 when the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side where looking for some quick breakthroughs.

The Indian superstar picked up crucial wickets of Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green and Tilak Varma to halt the home team to just 157 after the end of their 20 overs. It came at the right time as he didn't let the big partnerships happen which broke the back of the Mumbai side.

The ace spinner after the game revealed that the ball wasn't really spinning apart from a few ones but they did really worked on their plan which generated results.

"I think when we were bowling it wasn't really spinning. Yeah, odd balls were spinning but it was going straight for the most part of it. I and Mitchell Santner were looking to bowl on right lines and lengths with the batters they had,"

Moreover, he remarked that wickets in Wankhede have been a mix in the past with some being sticky, some pacey and others good for batting. Hence, it wasn't a huge surprise after seeing this kind of pitch.

"Here and there we could have gone for runs but it's okay. It's a bit of mixed wickets here. Sometimes it's good for batting, sometimes it is pacey or sticky. We keep discussing with each other and bowl accordingly. It's important to speak to one another and support each other."

Jadeja's brilliant show could be seen again when he bowls for Super Kings in their clash against Rajasthan Royals to be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
