Only a month is left for the Under-19 World Cup, and there's nothing that can stop the Vaibhav Suryavanshi rampage. The boss baby is having a year of dreams, smashing the bowlers out of the park for fun.
Playing the Under-19 Asia Cup in Dubai, the 14-year-old blasted yet another ton in just 54 balls in India’s first match of the tournament against the UAE on Friday.
That said, let's celebrate the young gun from Bihar, taking a look at all the centuries Vaibhav Suryavanshi has hit in the year 2025.
1. 38-ball 101 in IPL 2025
How many teenagers have the guts to hit their first-ever ball in the cash-rich tournament for a banging six? Hardly any! Nonetheless, this boy from Samastipur, Bihar, stormed into the tournament, announcing his presence on his maiden ball in the IPL.
Not only that, the 14-year-old etched his name in the record books with a blistering 38-ball 101 in the 47th game of the 18th edition. The 35-ball century by the Rajasthan Royals opener became the second-fastest in the tournament's history after Chris Gayle's 30-ball blitz for RCB against PWI in 2013.
2. 78-ball 102 in Youth Test vs Australia A
On September 30, the teenage sensation delivered yet another standout knock, crushing Australia U-19's bowling attack on Day 2 of a youth Test in Brisbane.
Notably, his 78-ball century was the fastest in Youth Tests on Australian soil and the second fastest overall.
It also set new records for six-hitting in Youth Tests, underlining his status as one of the brightest talents in youth cricket.
3. 78-ball 143 in Youth ODI vs England U19
In July, the boss baby struck the fastest ever Youth ODI century, from 52 balls, helping India U19 beat England U19 by 55 runs in Worcester to secure a series victory.
Suryavanshi smashed a blistering 143 from 78 balls, starring with 10 maximums and 13 boundaries.
4. 61-ball 108 in SMAT 2025 vs Maharashtra
On 02 December, 2025, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made headlines again after smashing an unbeaten century for Bihar against Maharashtra in an Elite Group B Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025 match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The prodigious left-hander produced another top innings, scoring an unbeaten 61-ball 108 to power Bihar to 176/3 at the end of their 20 overs. It was also the teenager’s maiden ton in the T20 domestic cricket tournament and third overall in the format.
5. 42-ball 144 in Rising Stars Asia Cup vs UAE
The teenage Indian prodigy smashed a superb 32-ball century to take down the UAE in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025. Notably, the 14-year-old had a chance to score his maiden double century in T20 cricket, but he was eventually dismissed for an unimaginable 42-ball 144.
Suryavanshi hammered as many as 10 fours and 9 sixes with a strike rate exceeding 300, making the UAE bowlers look helpless.
6. 95-ball 171 in U19 Asia Cup 2025 vs UAE
Another day, another ton for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Opening for India in the U19 Asia Cup clash against the UAE, the 14-year-old scored a stroke-filled century.
He reached his fifty in just 30 balls and then completed his ton in 56 balls. There was no stopping Suryavanshi, as he raced to the 150-mark off 84 balls. Eventually, ending his innings at 171 off 95. His knock, full of 14 sixes and 9 fours, lit up the inaugural game of the tournament.
There are still a few days left until 2025 bids the final goodbye. Hence, it will be intriguing to note how many more centuries this teenage prodigy has left in the bag for the year.
