Day 2 of the ongoing first Test between West Indies and India was a highly-eventful one, with runs being scored in buckets. Hundreds from Yashavi Jaiswal (143*) and Rohit Sharma (103), ensured India ended the day with a lead of 162, with the team score on 312 for 2, with the former and Virat Kohli (36*) batting in the middle, respectively.

Kohli, who is currently batting on 36, remarked about West Indies skipper Kraigg Brathwaite's bowling action. Brathwaite came into the attack in the 90th over, with the former India batter in the middle.

As per Wisden, Kohli was heard on the stump mic, saying to Jaiswal that Brathwaite is throwing, raising doubts over the skipper's bowling action.

Here's what Kohli said

"Bhatta phenk raha hai (he is throwing bricks)."

The 30-year-old was earlier reported in 2019 for illegal action when India toured the Caribbean, and also in 2017.  However, on both occasions, Brathwaite's action was deemed legal after International Cricket Council's (ICC) thorough inspection.

As per ICC rules, the bowler's elbow must not exceed past 15 degrees-mark, at the point of releasing the ball from the hand.

As of now, neither Kohli nor the on-field umpires took any action against Brathwaite at the end of play on Day 2, indicating that the former India captain's comment might be just a passing remark.
