Former India captain Virat Kohli is unbeaten for 36 runs at the end of second day’s play in the ongoing Test against West Indies at Windsor Park in Dominica on Thursday.

After scoring 25 runs on Day 2, Kohli became the fifth highest run-scorer for India in the longest format of the game, surpassing former India opener Virender Sehwag over the course of his innings.

However, throughout most of his innings, Kohli appeared to lack his typical self-confidence while playing the shots. It took the former India captain 81 balls, right before the conclusion of Day 2, to hit his first boundary.

After unleashing a powerful cover-drive against spinner Jomel Warrican, Kohli couldn't resist raising his hand in the air and mock-celebrating his first boundary of the day while looking towards the dressing room.

The shot had commentator Ian Bishop equally excited, evident from his animated commentary. Here’s what he said:

“Gets it through the gap for one of the typical … Virat Kohli shouts and he punches in the air as he gets a boundary.”

The video featuring Virat Kohli's celebration has gone viral, creating a buzz on social media platforms.
