Aaron Finch, the current Australian T20I captain has bagged a riveting milestone in his career. The white-ball specialist has been a phenomenal leader and has contributed to Australian cricket in more ways than one.

Huge milestone for Finch

Aaron Finch has become the first Australian ever to play 100 T20Is. The veteran batter is all set to go down as one of the most consistent players for the nation. Known for his level-headedness and a calm persona on the field, Finch has displayed an extraordinary level of mastery in white-ball cricket.

The batter has one of the highest averages in Australia in T20Is (34.23), aside from Michael Hussey. Finch is one of Australia's biggest asset.

Spinner Adam Zampa lauds praise on the Skipper

"He's calm under pressure and lets you do your thing. It's the same for the group as well, we know what we need to do in our roles and Finchy has been a massive, massive part of that."

"His strength is just understanding people."

The outgoing ODI captain

Albeit the captain has been one of the most consistent players in the Australian side, the outgoing ODI skipper has been struggling in the format. Finch has announced that he is letting go of the ODI captaincy and will continue as the T20I skipper, the top order batter has also retired from the 50-over format.
