On Day 2 of the Edgbaston Test between India and England, Harry Brook bowled 5 overs as a part-time bowler. However, his unusual bowling style reminded fans of Virat Kohli as they spotted uncanny similarities.
India dominated proceedings on Day 2 with the bat. Skipper Shubman Gill hit his maiden double century and remained unbeaten on 260, thus aiming for the magical triple century mark.
At tea on Day 2, India had 564 runs on the board at the loss of 7 wickets. To give bowlers a rest, England captain Ben Stokes summoned Harry Brook to bowl a few overs.
Harry Brook Reminds Fans Of Virat Kohli
England’s middle-order batter Harry Brook bowled 5 overs for his team on Day 2 of the second Test against India. He had an unusual action. Brook took a short run-up and took an uncanny jump before delivering the ball.
His action was almost identical to that of Virat Kohli, which made fans laugh. Kohli also jumps awkwardly before his delivery and has often slipped due to a lack of control over his rhythm.
That being said, Brook’s stint lasted 5 overs, and with India dominating the game, he is likely to bowl a few more overs to help England manage their bowling attack.

That made him the only batter in the history of Test cricket to get a 99 and 0 in a single Test match.
