They send me when we get beaten badly: Shaun Tait hilarious remark after recent loss to England

In a contentious statement, Pakistan fast-bowling coach Shaun Tait took a jibe at the team management, saying how he is usually sent to face the media after a disastrous loss.

As Pakistan suffered a drubbing in the sixth T20I of the ongoing seven-match series versus England, Tait came in to attend the post-match press conference.

'So when we lose badly they send me'

Before the question and answer session began, the former Australia cricketer said:

"So when we lose badly they send me. They send me when we get beaten badly."

Pakistan's media coordinator immediately switched off the mic and asked Tait if he was ready to proceed with the questions. After seconds of conversation between the two, the presser started.

Series moves to decider

The previous game saw Philip Salt's 41-ball 88 swat aside Pakistan as England chased 170 runs in 14.3 overs. Babar Azam's 87-run knock came as a solace for the hosts amidst the gloom of a defeat.

After facing an eight-wicket thrashing in the sixth T20I, Babar and Co. will collide with England in the series-decider at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on October 2.
