'You Need to See The Problem...,' Furious MS Dhoni Calls Out His Side To Take More Responsibility

It was an intense finish in the 41st match of the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) where Punjab Kings (PBKS) returned victorious against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) that too from their home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk as they found three runs off the final delivery to earn two crucial points.

CSK batted first on Sunday afternoon and posted 200 on the board courtesy of a brilliant 92 from Devon Conway but they came of no use as Punjab fought well against the spin attack and managed to chase the daunting target of 201 after some blitz from their batters who scored quick-fire runs.

Expectedly skipper MS Dhoni wasn't too pleased with his side and pointed out the problems which he believed took the game away from them. The veteran said they should have scored a few runs more and in bowling, two bad overs proved too costly as according to him, they were behind on plan or execution which is something his side needs to figure out.

"We need to be prepared as to what is to be done. The last few overs when we were batting, we could have gotten 10-15 more. Our bowling needed some cushion. The slower one did grip. Our batters have been putting runs consistently. I think 200 was par but we bowled two bad overs. We know the conditions well. We didn't bowl well. You didn't want to get hit to that side. You need to see what is the problem. The execution or the plan. Pathirana bowled really well. The first six overs we can do better. What lines to bowl."

Dhoni's Super Kings after this loss will look forward to their upcoming challenge which is against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) while Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings will next challenge Mumbai Indians on 3rd May.
