After an impactful innings from Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) Devon Conway, MS Dhoni banged two sixes on the last two deliveries to take the score to 200 by the end of their innings. The Super Kings have now employed their impact player tactic and called in their left-arm pacer Akash Singh.

In his place, Ambati Rayudu has been sent back into the pavilion to be substituted for rest of the match. Super Kings have generally used these two in the season so far alternatively depending on they are batting or bowling.

Akash has been quite impactful this season with five wickets so far in tournament after five wickets to his name in the five games he has played after coming in as replacement to injured Mukesh Chaudhary.

Meanwhile, Rayudu didn't even needed to bat today as Dhoni walked out in the final over replacing Ravindra Jadeja.

Apart from Akash, CSK had the option to choose from Subhranshu Senapati, Shaik Rasheed and Rajyavardhan Hangargekar.

On the points table, the Yellow Army was placed fourth with 10 points whereas Punjab Kings are positioned sixth with 8 points.
