Punjab Kings' Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma and Sikandar Raza scripted a famous win at Chennai Super Kings' den at Chepauk. However, before the PBKS batters chased down a target of 201 runs, the crowd in Chennai enjoyed Devon Conway's fireworks of 92*, for which he bagged the Player of the Match Award.

Thanks to Conway's blasting knock, Chennai posted an above-par total; however, the CSK openers think it was just par. Eventually, some bad bowling from the home bowlers and Punjab's out-of-the-world batting turned the table for the Super Kings.

While talking to the host broadcasters, the Kiwi batter spoke about the heartbreaking loss to the Kings.

"As I said in the innings break, it was a bit slow. But it was a good wicket. 200 was par and we are disappointed that we lost this one," he said.

Further in the interview, the second-highest run-getter in IPL 2023 talked about his compadre with CSK's batting coach Mike Hussey and his batting mates - Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ajinkya Rahane.

"(I am trying to) keep it simple and don't complicate things. I work closely with Mike Hussey as he has played a lot of cricket here. I work with lots of experienced players. I like talking to Rahane and love batting with Ruturaj."

"A lot to learn from the dressing room and by that I am getting better at everyday. Hope to continue doing well and get better in certain aspects. Hope to bounce back soon."

After this crucial win at Chepauk, PBKS has climbed one spot on the point table to reach the fifth place. Meanwhile, CSK, with five wins from nine games, are still sitting in the fourth position.
