In the ongoing Test between India and Bangladesh at the Chepauk Stadium, Yashasvi Jaiswal has entered the history books after his batting display against The Tigers.

Jaiswal looked promising in the first innings and scored a fifty. Jaiswal amassed 56 (118), which featured nine fours. In the second innings, he failed to convert his start and fell for 10 (17). Nonetheless, Jaiswal went past Sunil Gavaskar's record for most runs after 10 Tests.

Jaiswal Goes Past Gavaskar

Jaiswal's Blistering Test Career

In that series, Jaiswal amassed 712 runs in five matches, which featured two double-hundreds. In that series, Jaiswal was eyeing to break Gavaskar's record of most runs in a Test series. Notably, the little master holds the record for most runs in a Test series for India (774).

In 10 matches, Jaiswal has amassed 1094 runs in 18 innings and is averaging 68.53. His highest score is 214 against England.
