Jaiswal only third Indian to slam a ton on debut tour
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 is Yashasvi Jaiswal’s first assignment in Australia, and he slammed a hundred in the very first game in Perth. With that milestone, Jaiswal has become the only Indian after Sunil Gavaskar and ML Jaisimha to hit a ton on his debut tour to Down Under. Owing to his brilliance at the top, India extended the lead to 321 runs at Lunch break on Day 3. With 8 more wickets in hand, India will aim to bat as deep as possible as the pitch has started to wear down drastically.
