Ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, Marcus Stoinis gave a perfect audtion as he bludgeoned the opposition attack in the Abu Dhabi T20 League. Playing for Deccan Gladiators, Stoinis was at his imperial best as he hammered Team Abu Dhabi to all parts of the ground.

The Aussie all-rounder who has carved a name for himself, gained IPL franchises attention with a colossal 109 meter hit as the ball went out of the ground. In the game, the opposition bowler dugged it short, but Stoinis was up for the challenge.

The Australian batter stayed back and pulled it with disdain as the ball travelled a million miles and out of the park for a 109 meter big hit.

Stoinis looked aggressive with the bat and smashed 42 runs off 16 balls as his team won the contest by 6 runs.

Stoinis attracts buyers in IPL auction

Having been released by the Lucknow Super Giants, Stoinis will be a hot commodity as he enters the mega auction pool. There are very few quality all-rounders in the league and Stoinis is one of them.

Time and again, he has proven his worth in the IPL as the Australian star eyes a new team. He had three good seasons for LSG, but the team combination was such that the side had to release him.

Now, after some brilliant performances for Australia in T20Is, and in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the right-handed batter will be in focus when the auction commences on Sunday.
