MIW vs DCW: Team Previews
Mumbai Indians Women
Defending champions Mumbai Indians boast of some of the best T20 cricketers going around in world cricket.
Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the MI management did not make drastic changes to their squad and maintained a core group of players who have been pillars of their rock-solid performance thus far.
With several all-rounders like Hayley Matthews, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Kaur, and Amelia Kerr, Mumbai's squad faces no shortage of either batters or bowlers.
Issy Wong and Saika Ishaque will continue to be the leading bowlers, having added Fatima Jaffer and S Keerthana to their already strong bowling ranks.
Delhi Capitals Women
Lanning will lead Delhi Capitals [X.com]
Having narrowly missed out in 2023, Delhi Capitals will be eager to lift the title this season with the returning Meg Lanning. Lanning's form with the bat will be crucial for Delhi, who has retired from international cricket and might come into the competition with a lack of practice.
The squad remains almost the same from the last edition, with the addition of star all-rounder Annabel Sutherland.
They have also roped in batters Aparna Mondal and Ashwini Kumari, who will add cushion to the likes of Jemimah Rodrigues, Laura Harris, and Taniya Bhatia. Much will depend on all-rounders like Alice Capsey, Marizanne Kapp, Shikha Pandey, and Sutherland.
