Described as heaven on earth, Kashmir has been a tourist destination and has recently seen a lot of influx of travellers.

Former India legend Sachin Tendulkar, who is known to visit different parts of the country, traveled to Kashmir for the first time and was seen indulging in Gully Cricket. In a clip shared by IANS, Tendulkar could be seen batting against local youngsters in the beautiful city of Gulmarg.

Tendulkar is touring Kashmir along with wife Anjali Tendulkar, and daughter Sara Tendulkar, who hanged out with the cricketer at Kunzar village discovering local arts and crafts works at Dhobiwan. Tendulkar also visited MJ Sports Bat Factory in Chersoo village, while reminiscing about receiving his first Kashmir willow bat from sister Savita Tendulkar.

Earlier, the 50-year-old was seen batting in the middle during 'One World One Family' one-off charity T20 match, which included former players from across the globe participating. Tendulkar captained One World, while Yuvraj Singh led One Family, where the former's side won over the latter in a close encounter. 

Tendulkar, who is widely regarded as the greatest batter to ever play the sport of cricket, featured in 200 Tests, 463 ODIs, and one T20I for India during his career between 1989 and 2013, amassing over 34, 357 runs with 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries.

The batting maestro holds several world records to his name, which are yet to challenged.
