Rajasthan Royals are facing Chennai Super Kings in the 11th match of IPL 2025 at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati, Assam, on March 30. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bowl first against Riyan Parag’s team.

While Rajasthan Royals stuck with the same playing XI, Chennai Super Kings made two key changes from their previous match. They brought in Vijay Shankar and Jamie Overton, replacing Deepak Hooda and Sam Curran.

Why Deepak Hooda Is Not Playing Today?

CSK has not revealed the exact reason for dropping Deepak Hooda. However, his poor batting performance in the last two matches might be a factor. He managed to score only 3 (off 5 balls) and 4 (off 9 balls) in his previous outings.

This could be an opportunity for CSK to test other batters and give them a chance in Guwahati.
