The Irani Cup 2024, one of the most prestigious tournaments in Indian domestic cricket, is set to take centre stage once again, featuring a much-anticipated clash between Ranji Trophy 2023-24 champions Mumbai and the Rest of India team. 

BCCI released the Irani Cup 2024 fixture earlier this month with Mumbai competing against the Rest of India squad. As per the traditional format, the Rest of India team will comprise of top domestic performers, excluding the players featuring for Mumbai.

Mumbai's team will be led by veteran batter Ajinkya Rahane, with Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer in charge of the offense. On the other hand, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been elected captain of the Rest Of India team.

Notably, the highly anticipated fixture will take place at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow from October 1-October 5.
