In the ongoing 26th game of the Big Bash League 2023-24, Nikhil Chaudhary, currently playing for Hobart Hurricanes, complimented Brett Lee while being mic'd up, fielding against the Melbourne Renegades. 

Chaudhary, who debuted earlier in the tournament, is known for his ability to smack the bowlers. He became the second player of Indian origin to be featured in the Big Bash League after Unmukt Chand, who moved to the USA to advance his cricketing career. 

Nikhil expressed himself in the very first match he played in the BBL by smashing 40 runs against Perth Scorchers, which helped him seal a place in the playing eleven. He rose to popularity by smashing a maximum over point against Pakistan's ace bowler, Haris Rauf. 

The 27-year-old was mic'd up and Brett Lee, who was the commentator, talked to him in Hindi. Lee, on a few occasions, has expressed his love for India and did not miss an opportunity to talk in Hindi with Nikhil Chaudhary.

The former fast bowler asked Nikhil how he was doing in Hindi, to which he replied he was good. Lee also shared that he is still learning Hindi and told him it was good to meet him. Nikhil Chaudhary seemed surprised by listening to Brett Lee and could not stop himself from complimenting him, saying, 'Your Hindi is too good mate'.
