Karun Nair has been in great form in Maharaja Trophy 2024 and even scored a fantastic century against Mangaluru Dragons few games ago. He is leading Mysore Warriors as well and has played a big role in Warriors' success this season. However, he could not replicate that magic against Bengaluru Blasters in the 21st match of the season and departed for 13 off 12 balls.

Bengaluru scored 189 while batting first and Mysore needed a good performance from their batters. However, their batters failed big time and were bowled out for just 133 with Karun Nair sent back by experienced Lavish Kaushal in the 8th over of the run-chase.

It was a length delivery, outside off and Karun Nair made room to slam it away. However, he ended up playing a bit early and hit it off the bottom of his blade back to the bowler. Kaushal did not make any mistake and took a sharp catch off his own bowling to reduce Mysore to 65-4.

The wicket brought a huge roar from the fans assembled at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and one of them was a young kid dancing in joy with RCB jersey on.

They could not recover from that blow and kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually lost the game by a huge margin of 56 runs. Bengaluru Blasters with the win have taken a top position on the points table while Mysore Warriors are at the number four position with 4 wins in eight matches.
