Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman, And Saim Ayub Among 75 Pakistani Stars Named In BBL Draft

Pakistan's star players Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman, and Shan Masood could soon make their Big Bash League (BBL) debut as they have submitted their names for the upcoming BBL draft along with 73 other Pakistani cricketers.

The likes of Naseem and Fakhar Zaman will join the elite list of Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan, who are regulars in the BBL. Talking about the premier Australian T20 league, the drafts for Both WBBL and BBL drafts will be held on September 1.

BBL released a statement which mentioned that 64 male cricketers and 11 female cricketers from Pakistan have been nominated for this year’s overseas drafts in WBBL and BBL.

Apart from Naseem and Zaman, rising star Saim Ayub is the most prominent name from Pakistan men’s cricketers to enter the BBL overseas draft. 

Talking about women cricketers, newly-appointed Pakistan T20 captain Fatima Sana has entered the WBBL overseas draft alongside Nida Dar.

Naseem has picked 24 wickets in 28 T20I appearances for Pakistan, with best bowling figures of 3/21, with an average of 32.75.
