Carlos Brathwaite is best known for his heroics in the final of the T20 World Cup 2016 where he smashed four consecutive sixes against Ben Stokes to take West Indies to their second T20 World Cup title. A lot of time has passed since then, and Brathwaite is now seen playing only in franchise leagues and as a broadcaster.

The big all-rounder is currently playing Max60 Caribbean and is an important player for New York Strikers. He was probably desperate to get some crucial runs for his team in the Super Three game against Grand Cayman Jaguars, and that brought out his frustration when he was wrongly given out against Jos Little.

On the third delivery of the ninth over, Josh Little bowled a short delivery on off. Carlos tried to pull it but was early on his shot and the ball hit his shoulder and lopped up towards the keeper. Ben Dunk took the catch and surprisingly umpire gave it out, probably thinking that the ball has hit the glove on the way. 

Carlos Brathwaite was clearly not happy and very reluctantly walked off the field and when he was just about to leave the playing area, he took off his helmet, and hit it with his bat in full force, brining out all his anger on the safety gear.

New York Strikers Vs Caribbean Tigers - Max60 Caribbean 2024 Final

However, the match result must have made him pretty happy as New York Strikers won the game by 8 runs. They have advanced to the final of the tournament and will go up against Caribbean Tigers who have played some dominating cricket.
