Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batters of this generation and every time it seems that he has past his peak, the man comes up with a performance that leaves everyone awestruck. In the game against Punjab Kings, he smashed 92 off just 47 balls which included six sixes, one of those being an effortless backfoot punch over point.

It was the third delivery of the 18th over and Kohli was batting on 86 at that time. He has hit the previous ball for a boundary off a fullish delivery and Arshdeep Singh decided to taste the right-handed batter with a shortish one from 'round the wicket. 

Kohli though was upto the task. He rode the bounce brilliantly and just punched it over the point fence without even breaking the sweat. It was Virat Kohli at his absolute best and the timing was just impeccable.

Unfortunately for RCB and Virat Kohli, Kohli departed in the same over, falling short by eight runs of a well-deserved century. Apart from Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green too played brilliant knocks and RCB ended up smashing 241 on the board against a helpless PBKS bowling attack.
