Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star, Virat Kohli survived a minor scare during the PBKS vs RCB game at HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala. The first blip occured in the very first over as he could have potentially been debutant Kaverappa's maiden IPL wicket however a catch drop by Ashutosh Singh gave him a lifeline.

Kaverappa delivered a full length delivery and Virat Kohli attempted to whip it through the on-side which resulted in a thick leading edge. Ashutosh attempted to make a catch by diving under it however, he failed to get to the position quickly and the ball passes right through him.

Later on, just after two overs Virat Kohli survived another scare, when Rilee Rossouw dropped him once again at short cover as it was struck fiercely by the King. This was in the same over as Faf du Plessis's wicket.
