So close, yet so far! It's fair to say that Virat Kohli has been the pillar of RCB's strength and their game against Punjab Kings at the HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala is proof enough of it. GOAT Virat Kohli inched closer to clinch his ninth IPL century however, fell short by just 8 runs. Arshdeep Singh's long-wait to get King Kohli was finally manifested as he got his first wicket of the evening.

Arshdeep delivered a full length delivery angling across outside the off-stump, Virat Kohli lunged forward and reached for the ball, with the hopes to send it over the square of the wicket. He sliced the ball nicely towards the deep point, where Rilee Rossouw kept his calm and grabbed a low catch. Fans would've hoped that he just like before Rossouw would drop it, but he held the catch firmly resulting in Kohli's dismissal in the nervous 90s.

However, Kohli’s innings is a testament to his prowess as a player. With the help of his innings, RCB registered a massive total of 238 runs for the home-team to chase along with Cameron Green’s 46 off 22 balls heroics towards the end.
