Rajat Patidar was terribly out of form in the first half of IPL 2024, but as the tournament has progressed, the right-handed batter has roared back in form. In the 58th match of IPL 2024, he once again showed his might and came up with a counter-attacking fifty off just 21 balls.

The right-handed batter came out to bat after RCB lost Will Jacks in the fifth over and was dropped on his second delivery. However, in the very next over, Patidar came into his own and smashed three fours in a single over. In the 8th over, he took his game a notch higher and launched three massive sixes against Rahul Chahar.

Patidar eventually got to his fifty in the 10th over with a powerful hook shot as Sam Curran tried to bounce him out. It was his fourth fifty of the season and Virat Kohli who was also batting brilliantly at the other end, gave Patidar a warm hug. 

The man from Madhya Pradesh could not carry on after his his fifty though and departed on the final delivery of the same over in which he got to his fifty.
