The battle between India and Australia in the fifth and final Test of the Border Gavsakar Trophy 2024-25. India were put on the backfoot in the game after they batted first in the game on winning the toss.
India managed only 185 runs in their first innings and that put them behind in the game. However, the Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly and brought the team back. In the second innings India posted only 157 and set a target of 162 for the Aussie to win the game and the series and secure a place in the final of the WTC.

The Indian maverick gestured the crowd with empty pockets and suggested that team India are not using any Sand Paper to get results in this match.
Notably, on the second day of the game, the Australian fans circulated a video in the social media suggesting that Bumrah is using sand paper to dismiss the batters be effective with the ball.
