Whenever we talk about Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj, we only remeber how good they have been with each other on and off the field. Kohli had a key role in Siraj's rise in international cricket, and their friendship grew day by day due to their common presence in Royal Challengers Bangalore.
However, Siraj will play for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, while Kohli remains at RCB. Even though it did not seem yesterday that there is any love lost between the two, things were not perfectly placed on Sunday when Siraj made a blunder. In fact, it made Kohli visibly angry, as the chance went begging due to the pacer's casual error.
Mohammed Siraj Makes Virat Kohli Angry
The incident happened during the 39th over of Australia’s innings when Pat Cummins was on strike against Siraj and completed four runs while running alongside Marnus Labuschagne. Cummins and Labuschagne might not have completed four runs if Siraj was aware of the fact that there was a run out opportunity.
While Kohli was about to throw the ball at non-striker's end, Siraj went back to his run-up without looking at the ball. This made Kohli, who captained during the majority of the day, upset, and he was seen visibly upset on camera.
At the time of writing this, Australia are 125/6, leading by 230 runs after India's 369 in the first innings. India would desperately want to wrap things off, while Cummins and Labuschagne would try to add more crucial runs to take the game away from the visitors.
