Pakistan have got off to a worrying start in their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign opener against USA as the Men in Green lost two wickets within the first three overs. 

Mohammad Rizwan was the first to depart in the second over of the match after Steven Taylor took a blinder on the 2nd ball standing at first slip. Meanwhile, Usman Khan who came to bat at No.3 failed to make a mark with the bat and gave away his wicket cheaply by playing a loose shot on the 3rd ball of the 2nd over. 

Khan, who walked down the pitch with a big responsibility failed to reciprocate the trust shown in him by the management and amassed just 3 (3). Usman took aggressive route and tried hitting Nosthush Kenjige for a six, but unfortunately for him, the ball went straight to Nitish Kumar's hand.

Following Khan's wicket, Pakistan were reduced to 14/2 after 2.3 overs. Here is the video of the wicket.  At the time of writing this, Shadab Khan has launched a counter-attack, reviving Pakistan after early blows.
