Oman, who are playing their third ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, are having a lacklustre time in the middle, having lost both their Group B matches.

However, their spirits ahead of the second Group B encounter against Australia were on an all-time high, as the players were seen grooving to the viral sensational song 'Bado Badi' by UK-based Pakistan singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The song 'Bado Badi' gained fame after several memes, reels, and Tik Tok went viral over cringe lyrics, which strangely attracted audiences towards it. 

In the clip shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Instagram, all-rounder Zeeshan Maqsood could be seen leading other members of the side into a dance session on the beats of 'Bado Badi' while holding a cricket bat, much to the amusement of other players.

After suffering a narrow loss against Namibia in the Super Over, Oman almost pulled off an upset against Australia, but a lack of disciplined bowling, and astonishing batsmanship by Marcus Stoinis, ensured the Aqib Ilyas-led side were handed their second-consecutive defeat of the tournament, thus making their progress in the Super 8 quite tough. 

Oman shift base from Barbados to Antigua, and will clash against Scotland on June 9 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound. 

Interestingly, singer Chahat played First-Class cricket for Pakistan in the 1983-84 season before moving into the entertainment industry after playing club level for 12 long years.
