Despite coming to chase a below-par target of 107 against Ireland on Sunday, Pakistan were in all sorts of trouble in Florida. Things turned bad to worse when Shadab Khan lost his wicket for a two-ball duck, leaving half of the men back to the hut.

However, it was a sensational catch by Irish wicket-keeper Lorcan Tucker, who made an acrobatic effort behind the stumps to help Barry McCarthy enjoy the wicket.

Shadab came to bat during the 10th over of Pakistan’s innings after Usman Khan’s departure. It was a nothing delivery by right-arm quick, which was going down the leg side. Yet Shadab tried to nudge it, and Tector’s one-handed blinder did the damage for him.

At the time of writing this, Babar Azam seems to be the lone warrior for Pakistan, as they require 37 off 43 balls with only four wickets in hand. Pakistan are 70/6 after 12.5 overs, with Babar holding the key, batting on 21* off 22 balls.

Notably, if Pakistan lose this one, they will finish at the bottom of the Group A, behind India, USA, Canada, and Ireland.
