Shaheen Afridi weaved his magic on Sunday (June 16) when Pakistan faced Ireland in their final Group league game of the T20 World Cup 2024 in Florida.
The former Pakistan captain took two wickets in the opening over after Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first. And the manner in which he got off the mark left everyone in awe, as he seemed like a good old Shaheen who used to keep the batters guessing with sharp accuracy.
It was the second ball of the day by Shaheen, which was pitched up and angled in sharply. Former Irish skipper Andrew Balbirnie had no clue whatsoever while playing the drive, as the ball kept on rattling the stumps, leaving Shaheen in absolute joy.
Right after the wicket, Shaheen expressed his raw emotions in delight, making a lot of headlines.
